Vera Ann makes innovative jams and marmalades without preservatives or additives from locally grown fruit. They have won several prestigious awards, and have been featured numerous times in South African magazines, as well as on television.
Most of the fruit comes from the backpacker's orchard, but local growers also supply cherries and berries.
Vera Ann likes to experiment with different flavours and particularly likes making jams containing liquours. The jams all follow the seasons so are not always available, but if this happens there are always plenty of alternatives to try.
